Job Description
Walker Partners is searching for CAD Technicians/Designers who are proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D to work in our Austin office. Applicant will work with our teams on a variety of projects including, but not limited to, land development, water resources, transportation, and institutional projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare drawings and details for a variety of projects
Work under the guidance of Design Engineer and Lead CAD Designer
Coordinate with other team members
Review record drawings and incorporate into plans
Complete redlines for modifications of plans and details
Adhere to CAD standards
Strong organizational skills
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Experience in civil drafting
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree with courses in drafting, math, and science.
Experience with ArcGIS-based platforms
Autodesk Certification
During the interview process, the candidate may be required to participate in a short and facilitated AutoCAD Civil 3D skills assessment.
