Victory Woodworks is a highly entrepreneurial, customer-oriented, medium-sized manufacturing firm in search of a Junior Estimator. We are looking for a highly detail-oriented, self-motivated individual, who loves a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
You will be a part of the Estimating team which manages all aspects of estimating and delivering customer bids. While learning the details of Custom Millwork estimating, you will:
Assistant with distribution of plans and files
Conduct data entry
Answer customer inquiries by phone and email
Process information within specific timeframes to maintain efficiency and timeliness of documentation, submissions, communication and reporting
Organize information into standard formats and reports in various systems
Performance of the required duties will require physical ability to sit for long periods of time at a desk, generally up to 7 hours per day and standing and walking
Typical schedule is 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. Some flexibility in schedule supported and also required (some overtime)
Ability to operate standard office equipment (personal computer, photocopy machine, fax machine)
Occasionally required to stoop, kneel and lift up to 25 pounds
The noise level in the office work environment is usually moderate

Understanding of millwork construction terminology a plus
Previous experience within construction, engineering, or architecture industries
Highly fluent/strong knowledge of Microsoft office
Strong computer skills, fluent in Adobe Acrobat/PDF, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Ability to learn new computer programs and systems
Quality written and oral communication skills (phone/email)
Capable of reading blueprints and specifications a plus
Knowledge of the bidding process a plus
Ability to work full-time in Reno Sparks facility
Authorized to work in US without sponsorship, now and in the future
