The Senior Social Strategist is a creative storyteller and a social-savvy leader within the agency. In this role, you will be a key player for the growth, engagement, and reach of our clients' social media presence. You will lead the development and implementation of multicultural social campaigns for a major non-profit organization and support social needs for various other brands. You have the ability to manage brand goals, pitch social concepts, and understand how to clearly translate the brand's voice and identity. You are resourceful, pay close attention to detail, solution-oriented, and a self-starter.
Responsibilities:
Lead strategies for brands and serve as a client-facing subject matter expert on all things social
Formalize the agency's social capabilities and pursue areas of growth to drive new social business across client brands
Establish culturally relevant content and engagement driven growth tactics for all social channels, with a focus on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
Oversee posting, editing, optimization, and community management across social channels
Own the development of the brand's social calendar and social briefs that inspire creative teams to develop compelling and engaging brand assets
Identify emerging trends and opportunities to drive new, innovative social content
Deliver regular analytics reporting, including influencer and social media results, translated into actionable insights and recommendations that track against KPIs
Work effectively with brand social teams across paid & organic to proactively identify efficiencies and ways to extend reach
Qualifications:
4+ years experience of leading social strategy with a proven track record of growth
Prior management of social content development including creative concepting, review, and calendaring
Deep expertise of social media platforms and up to date on industry and platform trends
High-level understanding of paid media social strategy and reporting tools
Previous multicultural/DEI experience a plus (specifically AAPI)
Ability to manage a junior team and work in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders and client teams
Expert at managing multiple projects/deadlines
Must be based in San Francisco, Los Angeles, or New York
