They are looking to hire a Procurement Analyst to be responsible for analyzing procurement data, managing purchase orders, and optimizing purchasing processes to drive cost savings and improve vendor performance. Focus:
Analyze procurement data and develop insights to support strategic decision-making.
Manage purchase orders and ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment.
Emphasize cost efficiency and enhance vendor performance by employing methodologies such as cost modeling, supply chain projection, and competitive evaluation.
Utilize ERP and procurement systems to streamline procurement processes and enhance efficiency.
Participate in the formulation and implementation of all Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) endeavors to bolster procurement strategies.
Skill Set:
A minimum of 4 years of procurement experience, with a background in overseeing the creation and execution of all Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) efforts.
Demonstrated proficiency in managing purchase orders and conducting analytical assessments within procurement processes is strongly favored.
Extensive experience in data analysis and reporting, coupled with a working knowledge of ERP systems and procurement software, is advantageous.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in conducting cost modeling, forecasting supply chain dynamics, and performing competitive assessments.
Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel or other data analytics tools (e.g. Python, SQL)
Proven track record of driving cost savings and improving vendor performance.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
