We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineering Supervisor with a Professional Engineer (PE) license to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong onshore background and a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, especially in SKM and ETAP systems. Although hands-on experience with these systems is not mandatory, a foundational knowledge is essential. The successful candidate will lead a dedicated team of 6-8 individuals, including designers and junior engineers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Discipline Engineering:
- Execute engineering tasks leveraging your background, education, and licensure.
- Develop comprehensive electrical design packages including load lists, one-liners, circuit schedules, and more.
- Perform electrical calculations, reports, and studies, and respond to field team inquiries during construction phases.
Electrical Equipment Specification:
- Size and rate electrical equipment to meet project requirements.
- Generate specifications and datasheets for electrical equipment.
- Review bids from vendors and contractors, assisting in the procurement process.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure engineering deliverables are accurate and constructible.
- Oversee interdepartmental coordination, utilizing a RACI model to facilitate communication and project efficiency.
Team Supervision:
- Lead and mentor a team of designers and junior engineers, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Mandatory PE licensure.
- No sponsorship or EAD provided; applicants must be eligible to work in the US.
- Experience supervising a team within an electrical engineering context.
- Knowledge of SKM and ETAP preferred; hands-on experience is advantageous but not required.
