DESCRIPTION
The overall role of the Human Resources Generalist is to assist with administration of HR policies and procedures that cover a number of key HR areas including but not limited to: compensation and benefits, payroll processing, performance management, talent management, etc. This role will interact with doctors, management and staff. The incumbent will work with the HR Director to ensure ongoing company compliance is maintained as it relates to all applicable federal and state employment laws.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and run a variety of reports for: bonus, commission, performance reviews, etc.
Cross train with benefits and payroll to be able to step in as a backup during absences.
Ensure that all new hires have all of their required documentation and that it is filed in the personnel file.
Track and respond to unemployment claims.
Manage the offboarding of team members including conducting exit interviews for voluntary resignations.
Process, verify and maintain documentation related to HR activities such as staffing, performance evaluations, compliance training and team member personnel files.
Handle general team members questions pertaining to company policies, procedures, and benefit programs.
Assist in tracking legal requirements an government reporting regulations affecting Human Resources functions such as ADA, EEO, FLSA, FMLA, LOA, and OSHA.
Partner with the Operations Trainers to facilitate New Employee Orientation (NEO) as needed.
