Primarily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, setting up CAD sheets, produce design and construction drawings using information from project manager, research data and input from consultants
Conduct site visits and assist with documenting field findings
Partake, as needed, in design meetings with engineering and client staff to fully comprehend expected project goals
Must be able to multi-task, have a strong attention to details, and manage several projects or activities at one time
Review assigned task after completion for correctness prior to submitting to Project Manager or engineering staff for review
Qualifications
At least five (5) years of experience working on MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
Experience working on MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
Basic knowledge of surveying.
Basic knowledge of GIS
Knowledgeable in design plans (plan and profile) for public and private agency projects including roadways, drainage, sanitary sewer, water, site, and private utilities.
Strong utility relocation background with abandonment, and adjustment for water line, sanitary, storm sewer, natural gas distribution and transmission experience is a plus.
Ability to produce CAD designs per client standard requirements and complete standard calculations to finalize plans.
Ability to multitask and work under the guidance of Engineer/ Project Manager to complete assigned work within budgeted timeframe.
Ability to assist with document research and conduct site visits.
Ability to attend, record, and distribute meeting minutes, and assist with general project correspondence.
Skilled in the QC of own work for completeness and accuracy.
