Overview

Kilgore, a Summit Material company, is looking for Fuel Truck Drivers. This position is responsible for fueling heavy equipment located at job sites across the valley. They will also be responsible for checking fluid levels, greasing the machines, and assisting with preventative maintenance services when needed.

Position Responsibilities & Performance Objectives
The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Essential Functions


  • Operate a service/fuel/lube truck to various job site locations in and around Utah, Salt Lake & Summit counties
  • Checking fluid levels, greasing the machines, and assisting with preventative maintenance services when needed.
  • Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the public while representing Kilgore Companies.
  • Timely responses to job duties and requests.

Skills & Experience

  • Valid CDL A or B
  • Valid Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement
  • Valid DOT card
  • Clean MVR
  • Able to deliver results on simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Organization and good paperwork skills is a must. You will be working out of your "mobile" office, or truck.
  • Technologically competent. Capable of training on and learning new software.
  • Able to apply common sense and understanding when carrying out detailed, written, or oral instruction.
  • Previous construction maintenance experience helpful, but not required.
