ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Chief Program & Growth Officer (CPGO), you will be at the forefront of our organization's pivotal growth phase, leading our programs and expansion efforts nationally and internationally. Your role is paramount in our mission to empower girls of color in STEM. You will spearhead program development, implementation, and evaluation while cultivating strategic partnerships to propel growth across local, regional, and national levels. As a key member of our executive team, you will lead a dynamic team, including the Director of Programs and Director of National Partnerships, and oversee key hires, including the Director of Training and Curriculum and the Director of Regional Partnerships. We are seeking someone with a passion for our mission, strategic acumen, and a proven track record in scaling programs and delivering impactful outcomes for young people.
WHAT YOU'll DO
Key responsibilities will include:
Organizational Leadership (15%)
Serving as a senior leader in the organization, you will provide leadership, thought partnership, and support to ensure the success of STEM From Dance.
In partnership with the staff, Board of Directors, and stakeholders, you will plan and execute a growth strategy that will expand the success of the organization.
Team Management (30%)
You will lead, manage, supervise, and coach a team to set and meet strategic goals and translate key strategies into operating activities that drive SFD's vision forward.
You will support a values-based organization and team culture that makes SFD a great place to work.
You will directly manage staff in programs and partnerships, providing opportunities for professional development and growth support.
Program & Evaluation (30%)
You will manage and oversee SFD's program design and implementation and will support continuous improvement of programming to ensure maximum impact.
You will drive outcomes measurement and evaluation efforts to assess program effectiveness and inform continuous improvement.
You will serve as a thought leader with the CEO and Deputy Director ensuring SFD offerings align with organizational growth as a national leader in STEM.
Partnership Strategy (15%)
In partnership with the CEO, leadership team, and Board, you will build, iterate, and execute a partnership strategy that will allow SFD to scale its programming to serve more youth locally and nationally.

Bachelor's degree required; Related advanced degree preferred; Background in STEM preferred.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
SALARY: This position offers a competitive salary range for this role: $110,000 - $140,000
BENEFITS: STEM From Dance office is a competitive total compensation package inclusive of benefits such as health insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, generous paid time off, flexible schedules, and extensive learning opportunities. More details can be provided upon request.
TRAVEL: There will be an expectation of 20% travel, including travel to New York City, partner sites, and other key events.
LOCATION: This position can be remote, with a preference for candidates located on the East Coast, particularly in the New York City area. Monthly in-person meetings at our New York City office are expected.
