As the Lab Application Scientist, you be involved in educating internal employees as well as performing collaborative projects and demonstrations for our customers.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
  • Responsible for ensuring total customer satisfaction within the Complete Genomics installed base.
  • Responsible for the delivery - instruction/mentoring/consulting - of the customer and/or employee educational services and/or technical training in assigned business segments internally or externally.
  • Translates customer's educational requirements into single seminars, customized solutions, or projects, which improve the effectiveness and intellectual capital of customers.
  • Works with customers and internal organizations to develop specifications, and design and conduct technical training courses for customers and/or employees Instructs participants in classroom lectures and/or laboratory sessions.
  • Determines and develops approaches to customer/employee education service assignments
  • Leads projects requiring coordination with other functions, customers, and third parties.
  • Solves a broad range of problems of varying scope and complexity.
  • Scopes solution deliverables and calculates solution implementation effort (time and price).

WHERE YOU WILL WORK
  • Full-time in Framingham, MA.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING US
  • 3+ years (cumulative) of extensive NGS library prep, applications, data analysis, troubleshooting and sequencer use.
  • 1+ years of customer-facing training experience (hands-on and lecture).
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to be a supportive team member
  • Comfort and strong ability to interact positively with both internal and external groups

WHAT YOUR EDUCATION LOOKS LIKE
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in genetics, biochemistry, biotechnology, or similar discipline.

HOW WE WILL REWARD YOU

The base salary for this position is $85,000 - $125,000.*
  • This position will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
