As the Lab Application Scientist, you be involved in educating internal employees as well as performing collaborative projects and demonstrations for our customers.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Responsible for ensuring total customer satisfaction within the Complete Genomics installed base.
Responsible for the delivery - instruction/mentoring/consulting - of the customer and/or employee educational services and/or technical training in assigned business segments internally or externally.
Translates customer's educational requirements into single seminars, customized solutions, or projects, which improve the effectiveness and intellectual capital of customers.
Works with customers and internal organizations to develop specifications, and design and conduct technical training courses for customers and/or employees Instructs participants in classroom lectures and/or laboratory sessions.
Determines and develops approaches to customer/employee education service assignments
Leads projects requiring coordination with other functions, customers, and third parties.
Solves a broad range of problems of varying scope and complexity.
Scopes solution deliverables and calculates solution implementation effort (time and price).
WHERE YOU WILL WORK
Full-time in Framingham, MA.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING US
3+ years (cumulative) of extensive NGS library prep, applications, data analysis, troubleshooting and sequencer use.
1+ years of customer-facing training experience (hands-on and lecture).
Excellent communication skills
Ability to be a supportive team member
Comfort and strong ability to interact positively with both internal and external groups
WHAT YOUR EDUCATION LOOKS LIKE
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in genetics, biochemistry, biotechnology, or similar discipline.
HOW WE WILL REWARD YOU
The base salary for this position is $85,000 - $125,000.*
This position will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
