Electrical QA/QC Technician

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Quality Control Technician with a robust background in electrical systems and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience. In this critical role, you will be responsible for meticulously inspecting electrical equipment and systems installations to ensure strict adherence to electrical codes, specifications, and rigorous quality standards. Proficiency in documentation, reporting, and effective communication is essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect electrical equipment and systems installations, ensuring strict compliance with electrical codes, specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.
  • Verify that products are manufactured in accordance with engineering standards, industry norms, and project documents, including specifications and drawings.
  • Conduct equipment verification based on approved submittals, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Execute product tests and maintain accurate documentation using good documentation practices (GDP).
  • Conduct audits to ensure that quality checks, records, and travelers are completed consistently.
  • Perform meticulous electrical inspections on all units and assemblies.
  • Verify construction against fabrication drawings, P&IDs, submittals, and specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with Production Designers to address identified issues during the production process.
  • Ensure completion, organization, and proper filing of all project documentation.

Education/Experience:
  • At least 2 years of experience in Electrical work, with some Quality Control experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of commercial electrical codes and industry standards.
  • 3 to 5 years of overall experience in the industry or a related field.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Proficiency in personal computer applications, including Microsoft Office, Bluebeam Revu, and Gmail.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of construction safety and construction requirements.
