Job Summary: As a Field Application Scientist specializing in Advanced Microscopy Applications for Cell and Tissue Biology, you will be at the forefront of translating cutting-edge microscopy technologies into impactful solutions for researchers in life sciences. Your role involves providing technical expertise, conducting in-depth training sessions, and collaborating with customers to optimize the application of our advanced microscopy systems in cell and tissue proteomics studies. This position requires extensive travel to client sites, conferences, and events to deliver exceptional service and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Collaboration:
Engage with customers to understand their specific research objectives in proteomics of cell and tissue biology.
Collaborate with researchers to develop experimental strategies that address their specific biological problems.
Travel to client sites to deliver support and services.
Training and Education:
Conduct comprehensive training sessions for customers, focusing on microscopy-guided proteomics applications, sample preparation techniques, and image analysis methodologies.
Create and update educational materials, tutorials, and application notes to support customer learning.
Application Support:
Provide hands-on support for customers in implementing our unique microscopy techniques for their specific cell and tissue studies.
Assist customers in experimental design, protocol optimization, and troubleshooting.
Inside Sales Support:
Contact customers and build customer relations to help inside sales for the Sales team and support product demonstrations, workshops, and promotional activities.
Provide feedback to the R&D team on customer needs and contribute insights for product development.
Demonstrations and Workshops:
Conduct on-site and virtual demonstrations showcasing the capabilities of our microscopy system in the context of cell and tissue biology.
Organize and participate in workshops to highlight the applications of our technologies.
Continuous Improvement:
Gather customer feedback on product performance and application needs.
Contribute to the development and improvement of advanced microscopy solutions based on customer insights.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. or M.S. in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
Proven experience in utilizing advanced microscopy techniques in cell or tissue studies.
Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally as a Field Application Scientist with a focus on advanced microscopy applications.
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex scientific concepts clearly.
