Facility Handy Person - Factory Services at Formica in Cincinnati, Ohio

$21.04 per hour




Job Description:

Hourly pay: $21.04 plus an additional $.90/hour for off shifts
Sign-on Bonus: $1,000 


You must be available for these shifts (and off-shifts which include overtime and weekends):



  • A Shift - Monday through Wednesday and every other Sunday, 6:30pm - 6:30am

  • D Shift - Monday through Wednesday, and every other Sunday, 6:30am - 6:30pm


Overall, here’s what we need you to do:



  • Performs a variety of functions relative to cleaning in and outside of the facility (includes maintaining restrooms in a clean and sanitary condition)

  • Operates cleaning equipment to maintain a clean condition of floor in the plant and the office area

  • Operates fork and platform trucks to move such things as trash receptacles, furniture, and skids

  • Paints various structures inside and outside of the facility

  • Performs other handy person jobs as needed

  • Performs other incidental duties as required


"What qualifications do I need to be considered?"



  • Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED

  • The ability and motivation to work overtime and weekends is a must

  • You can lift and carry 20 lbs to 40 lbs frequently and occasionally carry 40 lbs to 100 lbs

  • You want a job that keeps you moving (and standing!) while bending, stooping, and reaching (crouching, pushing, and pulling occasionally)

  • You need to successfully pass our required Mobile Equipment certification

  • As part of your employment contract, you agree to pass a drug screening (as you will be handling machinery, forklifts, and other tools that are potentially hazardous) and background screening
