Description:
We seek a Software QA Tester to join a long-term program to develop and maintain a bidirectional AWS API Gateway for secure data transfer across various organizations and agencies. This role requires a methodical approach to testing, including creating detailed test plans, conducting tests, collaborating with partners, and documenting results to ensure the system's robustness and reliability.
Responsibilities:
Analyze documentation to develop detailed test plans, procedures, and Requirements Verification Traceability Matrixes (RVTM).
Conduct tests focused on the consumption of external APIs and data transfer through the gateway.
Work closely with partners to plan, coordinate, and execute testing activities effectively.
Identify discrepancies and document findings in detailed discrepancy reports.
Perform comprehensive system, interface, user acceptance, and regression testing to ensure all aspects of the software meet quality standards.
Develop and review testing documentation, including test plans, procedures, scenarios, and RVTMs.
Execute both manual and automated testing of complex software systems.
Document test findings clearly and in detail for project stakeholders to review.
Engage in functional and regression testing as part of the software development lifecycle.
Requirements:
Strong ability to analyze technical documents and develop effective test strategies.
Experience in reviewing and analyzing requirements documentation to ensure thorough understanding and coverage in test plans.
Proven track record of writing detailed test plans, procedures, scenarios, and RVTMs.
Extensive experience conducting both manual and automated testing of complex systems.
Proficient in documenting detailed and clear test findings.
Experienced in system, interface, user acceptance, and regression testing.
Optional Skills & Experience:
Experience writing automated tests using programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
