Primary Function:
Create, recommend, and guide the implementation of brand strategies for Bedrock on a national level and targeted geographic level to meet company's growth targets.
Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Be a visionary and strategist in designing and coordinating marketing activities and items to promote companies' brands, products, and services nationwide
Constantly strive to continue building the size and loyalty of Bedrock's advocacy groups
Direct, inform, and train other departmental employees on marketing aspects of the company
Develop and effectively distribute industry related content to dealers, distributors, dealerships, industry professionals, and end consumers nationwide
Use all social media channels and online resources to enhance marketing strategies
Maintain good relationships and delegate effectively to all outsourced resources
Manage media buys, publications, web developers, promotional items, apparel, online contests, sponsorships, trade shows, literature, product database, email newsletters, blogs, new product releases, special projects
Identify, develop and support relationships with strategic influencers to promote the brand.
Determine ways to measure results of marketing initiatives
Participate in special events, sales meetings, promotional activities, and tradeshows
Prepare reports of marketing activities and other reports as assigned
Assist with annual budget development and management
Travel up to 50% required
All other duties assigned by management
Skills:
Creativity, problem solving, out of the box thinker, decision making, and analytical skills required
Lean background is helpful with the ability to implement lean process and utilize lean tools in the day-to-day marketing activities
Strong math and communication skills required
Advanced computer, office and graphics software programs, internet, and email skills required
Have a solid understanding of all available social media channels available and search engine optimization strategies
Must possess current and valid driving record with clear history for the past three years
Qualifications:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in related field or justifiable comparable experience
Five years marketing experience
Knowledge of the fleet upfitting business is helpful.
Knowledge and experience regarding the wholesale and retail environment helpful
Financial acumen to measure return on investment and help create and manage the department's budget
Physical Requirements:
Extended periods of sitting and/or walking (33% - 75% of time)
Stooping, bending, twisting, leaning (10% - 33% of time)
Lifting of 25-50 lbs. occasionally (0% - 15% of time)
Work Environment:
On-site: Shiner, TX
Typically inside a climate-controlled office and is required to occasionally move from office to manufacturing areas and outdoors to perform duties
Occasional exposure to manufacturing environment or service bays where the use and wear of proper protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses or side shields on glasses and closed toe shoes are mandatory
