Altenloh, Brinck & Co. US, Inc. (the Company) manufactures engineered fasteners under the SPAX® brand for the construction market, TRUFAST® for the commercial roofing industry and building envelopes and facades. The strategic marketing director will be responsible for the development of the strategy that drives our products from their distribution point to the final user. Concepts for each channel and product category will need to be reviewed and updated to respond to changing market conditions - specifically including pull strategies for the SPAX brand for retail, PRO, and LBM markets, as well as the TRUFAST brand within the building envelope market. The role will be responsible for shaping and enhancing our brand stories across all markets, creating digital platforms, and providing leadership to the marketing team - including external resources and agencies. Working with all areas of sales and product management, this person must have the drive and ability to invest in thoughtful and innovative marketing initiatives, through both leading the marketing team as well as helping execute plans. Additionally, this position will monitor the effectiveness of all marketing efforts.

Essential Responsibilities:
(Strategy) Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies which support the successful execution of the business strategy.
(Leadership) Provide active leadership to build, develop, and lead a marketing team (including external resources/agencies) capable of executing the overall strategy and plan to improve all aspects of marketing across all brands
(Annual Planning) Develop an annual marketing plan per channel with the appropriate strategies, budgets, resources, and metrics necessary to achieve the Company's overall financial goals.
(Mkt Research) Actively oversee and evaluate market research and industry trends to create effective marketing strategies that are superior to competitors' activities.
(Design) Manage the marketing team responsible for asset and content development, experiential marketing, data analytics
Prod Launch) Collaborate with product management, sales teams to build successful product launches and highly focused selling efforts.
(Digital) Build a robust digital marketing strategy (all media) that supports the strategy of all brands.
(Branding) Develop campaigns that strengthen brand awareness based on business goals.
(Analytics) Define measurements of marketing effectiveness and communicate these regularly with the sales and product management teams.
(Creative) Lead the consistent execution of a cohesive creative strategy for each brand, partnering with internal and external resources to design, create and deliver this strategy across all marketing and sales assets.
Requirements
Experience:
10+ years of business to business and/or business to consumer marketing experience required.
5+ years of progressive leadership experience.
Building distribution and/or home improvement retail channel know-how preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business or similar
