Kelly Engineering is seeking a Quality Technician with a food manufacturing background to join our client's quality team.

JOB OVERVIEW
Assure the client meets Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements at the manufacturing facility.
Assures all Safety Quality Food requirement areas are properly maintained and correct, while keeping quality, GMPs, and regulatory compliance a high priority.
Initiates and conducts investigations into high-level repeating vendor issues and customer complaints. These investigations include one or all departments within the plant and are conducted in a professional manner that is reflected in weekly reporting.
Follow up on the completed investigations is vital to ensuring effective and appropriate actions were taken.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a field of Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Food Engineering, Food Science or related engineering/science discipline.
1-3 years Industry experience in the Food and Beverage industry
Preference for certification in process capability (Six Sigma, etc.).
Formal education (including short courses) on GLP, GMP, SQF, Food Defense, PCQI, or HACCP.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
One year of experience in conducting investigations is preferred.
