Job Description Job Responsibilities Responsible for supporting project managers and engineers for sample preparation, testing and laboratory maintenance. Receiving, labeling, and safely storing samples to be tested Performing tests needed for the product performance analysis and report the results Discussing and answering any questions regarding the results Organizing and storing samples in accordance with all safety and other requirements to ensure the safety of personnel and integrity of the sample Maintaining lab equipment, including calibration of equipment Maintaining equipment records, daily work logs and organizational skills Good communication and teamwork skills and able to follow instructions/procedures Under direct supervision, performs assigned duties within the current HSE laboratory safety standards. Performs wet chemistry (dilutions, mixing, etc.) and literature review Operates laboratory equipment such as Microscopy, analytical instruments or other mechanical lab testing equipment, as required to execute assigned tasks. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Candidate must be able to think creatively and demonstrate curiosity in R&D project tasks Maintains files and documentation related to test equipment and test results of equipment. Qualifications/Experience A bachelor's degree, or an associate degree or certificate. In addition to educational requirements, Technician need to understand and know how to use the equipment necessary for the testing and analysis of samples. Skills typically through eight (8) hours of college chemistry or physical science and 2 years of related laboratory testing experience.
