LHH Recruitment Solutons is currently recruiting for a Staff Accountant in the Houston TX area. Our client is a business services company and is looking to hire as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will need to have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
Responsibilities:
Participate in month end close activities
Reconciliation of bank accounts
Journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
Assist in preparing for month and year end closing
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Minimum of two years of relevant and progressive professional experience in Accounting and/or Finance
Skills:
Intermediate to advanced Excel
Understanding of GAAP and Statutory Accounting Principles
