Summary:

As the Vice President of Client Services, you will play a pivotal role in creating, developing, and managing Corient's front-office services and enhancing the overall client experience. Your primary responsibility will be to discern and understand the unique needs and requirements of our clients, both immediate and long-term, and to strategically align our company's capabilities to fulfill those needs. You will be instrumental in driving enterprise growth goals by delivering exceptional client solutions and fostering lasting partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive enterprise growth through enhancing Corient's value proposition, supporting new client acquisition, developing new revenue opportunities, and deepening client relationships to support retention.
  • Effectively manage competing priorities, translate ambiguity, and thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' implicit and explicit needs to tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Navigate complex stakeholder matrices to ensure seamless delivery of client solutions.
  • Lead and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that exceed client expectations.
  • Identify and recommend improvement opportunities for existing solutions.
  • Lead and support development and launch of new solutions, such as Retirement Plan Services,
  • Banking and Lending Solutions, or other potential opportunities.
  • Oversee business operations for Client Solutions (budgeting, data & analytics, org. design).
  • Develop and prepare ad-hoc reports and presentation materials as needed.
  • Provide management support and guidance across our existing solutions, including:

Traditional Investments (Equities, Fixed Income, Cash, Values-aligned investing)

Wealth Planning and Wealth Transfer Planning

Family Office Services (Tax Planning and Compliance, Trust Services, Personal CFO Services)

Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements:

  • Master's degree in business administration, finance, or related field required.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years demonstrated success managing complex client relationships.
  • 3+ years at a Big 3 firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain) at the engagement manager or equivalent level desired.
  • Exceptional consultative abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive-level clients and colleagues.
  • A change agent with solid problem-solving skills.
  • Strong data focus with a proven track record of leading data-driven decision-making strategies.
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working within the wealth management or financial services industry preferred

U.S. Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation.
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. For U.S. employment opportunities, Corient hires U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Exceptions to these requirements will be determined based on shortage of qualified candidates with a particular skill. Corient will require proof of work authorization.
  • Must be willing to execute Corient's Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement, which require, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality and non-disclosure.
