Job Summary: As a Cyber Security Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in defining, driving, and executing our cyber security strategy. Your expertise security, compliance, and program management, ideally honed in a Big 4 consulting environment, will be crucial in enhancing our security posture. You will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of security programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering a culture of security awareness across the organization. Your background in financial services will be invaluable in understanding the unique challenges and regulatory landscape of the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of cyber security projects, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives and compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, compliance, and business units, to identify and assess security risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement best practices.
Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including consultants, auditors, and regulatory bodies, ensuring that all security programs meet or exceed industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive cyber security program that addresses key areas such as threat intelligence, incident response, information protection, and identity and access management.
Drive the adoption of security policies and procedures, conducting regular reviews and updates to reflect the evolving threat landscape and regulatory environment.
Provide leadership and guidance to the cyber security team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Prepare and present regular reports to senior management and the board of directors, highlighting the status of security initiatives, potential risks, and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
5-7 years of program management experience in cyber security, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in Big 4 consulting.
Proven track record of managing and delivering complex security projects on time and within budget.
Experience in the financial services industry, with a keen understanding of the specific security challenges and compliance obligations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
