Job Description:

Job Summary: As a Cyber Security Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in defining, driving, and executing our cyber security strategy. Your expertise security, compliance, and program management, ideally honed in a Big 4 consulting environment, will be crucial in enhancing our security posture. You will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of security programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering a culture of security awareness across the organization. Your background in financial services will be invaluable in understanding the unique challenges and regulatory landscape of the industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of cyber security projects, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, compliance, and business units, to identify and assess security risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement best practices.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including consultants, auditors, and regulatory bodies, ensuring that all security programs meet or exceed industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive cyber security program that addresses key areas such as threat intelligence, incident response, information protection, and identity and access management.
  • Drive the adoption of security policies and procedures, conducting regular reviews and updates to reflect the evolving threat landscape and regulatory environment.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the cyber security team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management and the board of directors, highlighting the status of security initiatives, potential risks, and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of program management experience in cyber security, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in Big 4 consulting.
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering complex security projects on time and within budget.
  • Experience in the financial services industry, with a keen understanding of the specific security challenges and compliance obligations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
