Position: Director of Operations

Location: Andover, MA, hybrid

Duration: Direct-hire

firstPRO, Inc. is working with a wealth management company looking for someone to manage their operations. Operations Manager orchestrates all facets of office management, from operational tasks and staff supervision to regulatory compliance. They lead the design and implementation of streamlined systems to optimize revenue and elevate client service. Additionally, they oversee technology management, client service, advisory and business development, marketing, and financial oversight.

Responsibilities:
  • Review and refine operational procedures for maximum efficiency.
  • Measure effectiveness of internal and external processes, providing timely, accurate reports.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators, implementing improvements as needed.
  • Develop and communicate effective processes, including growth strategies and workflow initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Management on operational infrastructure, compliance, and personnel matters.
  • Create and update office procedures manual annually.
  • Manage, assign, and delegate work to staff, providing feedback and support.
  • Lead and motivate a high-performance team, attracting, recruiting, and retaining talent.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to support staff development.
  • Set comprehensive performance and growth goals.
  • Monitor client review system, refine service models, and resolve escalated service issues.
  • Identify expansion opportunities, oversee due diligence processes, and build strategic alliances.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of management experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business or related field.
  • Detail-oriented with strong math, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Experience in supervising and leading others.
  • Ability to translate complex objectives into actionable steps for successful implementation.
