What will I do as a Project Manager-Commodities?
In this position, you will manage day-to-day requests and inquiries of wire and conduit for construction projects, from quotation to final billing for customers, to ensure project accuracy and customer satisfaction. Negotiate the best price, quality, shipping, and production schedules in a timely and accurate manner. Identify and resolve inefficiencies and offer cost-saving initiatives.

Process customer requests accurately in a short amount of time while upselling value-added solutions when applicable.
Positive and professional attitude
Reviewing and processing internal and external day-to-day quotes/orders in Solar Eclipse
Working with Account Managers on quoting and managing large conduit and wire projects
Establishing and maintaining a working relationship with key vendors and key customers
Recognizing and promoting value add solutions, when applicable
Occasional travel to branch events and customer visits with Account Managers when directed by the Supervisor.
Primary Requirements
Ability to work within a team atmosphere and with multiple departments within Kirby Risk - Team Spirit
Product knowledge (wire and conduit)
Excellent internal and external customer service skills
Detail-oriented in a fast-flow work environment
Excellent work ethic
Nice to have: Experience with Solar Eclipse and Excel
What is the schedule?
Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Overtime as needed and approved ahead of time.
Minimal travel
Location negotiable
