Triple-S Steel is a general line service center with special emphasis in the construction markets. Our roots are in Houston, but over the last 60 years our business has taken us throughout North America, Central and South America and Asia. From a small family retail operation, our business has grown to where we sell over 1,000,000 tons per year. Responsibilities:
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Develop a detailed project plan to track progres
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Report and escalate to management as needed
Collaborate with internal and external resources/stakeholders
Manage and mitigate project risks
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Qualifications:
Ability to multitask and prioritize projects as needed
Strong communication skills, written and oral
Knowledge of SLDC - systems development life cycle
Previous software and implementations successfully completed
Flexible and willing to adapt during course of project
Project management and leadership experience
Functional business knowledge (Procurement, Finance, etc.)
