Overview:

We seek an enthusiastic Jr. Project Manager to oversee complex technical projects for our Professional Services team. This role demands technical proficiency, project management expertise, and strong communication skills. The Jr. PM will manage resources, coordinate administrative tasks, develop and execute plans, lead internal and client calls, ensure on-time and within-budget project delivery, and assist the Delivery Manager and Cloud Delivery Architects with various tasks while providing high-quality white glove service.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for overseeing professional services' project tasks/deliverables in project management software to ensure projects are delivered within scope, on time, and on budget, escalating risks/issues to the Delivery Manager.
  • Provide project coordination and administrative support for various professional services projects, including organization, calendar management, deliverable tracking, and drafting project templates using established methodologies.
  • Manage administrative aspects of projects from intake to execution, ensuring successful delivery within project scope and timeline.
  • Monitor project progress, identify issues and risks, and escalate critical items to the Delivery Manager.
  • Utilize project management tools to stay organized and manage projects effectively.
  • Facilitate timely communication with stakeholders, assisting in meetings and communication plans as needed.
  • Engage consistently with stakeholders and team members to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to uphold quality standards in daily operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications (must-haves):
  • Associate degree in computer science or a related field is required.
  • 2+ years of project management experience (preferably in a cloud solutions environment).
  • Proficient in managing multiple projects simultaneously while delivering high-quality, white-glove service.
  • Familiarity with Waterfall, Agile, and other project management methodologies.
  • Skilled in effectively communicating technical information to stakeholders, clients, and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant software, such as Microsoft Office 365 and project management tools.
  • Adapts well to fast-paced, dynamic environments with shifting priorities.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure independently, as well as in a team setting.
  • Must demonstrate an advanced level of computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications (nice-to-haves):
  • Previous experience as a technical project manager within the Microsoft cloud solutions realm.
  • Project management certifications such as CAPM, PMP, Project +, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proactive in identifying and addressing issues.
  • Interest in participating in technical discussions and learning from team members.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on cloud computing and Microsoft cloud solutions.
