Role:
- Turning ideas into actions to deliver customer values
- HM aligns TPM's to initiatives (rather than program level). Must be delivery focused. (end-to-end project delivery)
- Initiatives have multiple tech stacks and drive across multiple groups
- Initiatives:
- Cost Containment with auto-scaling piece (Ruby, GoLang, .NET) - not a new feature
- Loyalty Points conversion platform (product driven inititiave)
- These are not happening in parallel. Points will finish in July or mid August
- Team is currently making company mergers & acquisitions but this person focuses more on platform changes
- A lot of reporting and risk management
- Keep manager informed of risk statuses
- Will absorb into standard meetings and ceremonies
- Payment card experience, especially on the Loyalty side is great.
- Technical knowledge is needed (not expected to change or deploy code) - strong inclination of SDLC
- Delivery focus and independent team management is most important
