We are seeking a driven and aggressive Project Manager to join our best-in-class team!
You will be responsible for successful project management and delivery of commercial/industrial HVAC and Plumbing projects in the North-Central Illinois area with the goal of earning repeat business, developing relationships with clients and treating our customers and clients better than they would ever expect from a contractor.
Responsibilities:
Planning and Managing HVAC and Plumbing Projects including duct and piping.
Act as our knowledgeable, professional and respectful representative with the owner, GC and design-team.
Develop partnerships with owners, GC's and design teams.
Evaluate each job and find the "make or break" items that can change a project from a good one to a lemon and mitigate our risk with these items.
Ensure deadlines and cost targets are beat. You must have an understanding of drivers of field productivity and an aggressive attitude towards field installation and productivity improvements.
You'll maintain all required project documentation in Procore and BuildOps as needed including our weekly safety training sign ins and all project pictures and BIM models.
Participate in and/or lead our "bid day" efforts as needed to ensure the most complete and accurate bid is submitted.
Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
This is not a clock watching position. It is a position for someone passionate about putting up buildings and providing top notch HVAC and Plumbing installations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in HVAC work with project management and bidding with project size ranging from $5,000 up to $5,000,000.
Strong project management skills.
