We are looking for a skilled Project Manager with strong communication skills and experience in managing complex projects, particularly in the area of Disaster Recovery. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of functional business processes, excellent organizational abilities, and the ability to effectively navigate technical terms related to disaster recovery.
Responsibilities:
Keep projects on track and on schedule, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
Run meetings and engage with business leaders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
Handle Phase 2 of the Disaster Recovery project, including selecting a new vendor, managing vendor resources, and coordinating internal meetings and technical calls.
Work closely with business leaders to drive the project forward, ensuring proper alignment with business objectives.
Develop project plans for system migrations of legacy infrastructure/systems identified for remediation.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure successful execution of project deliverables.
Provide or assist with status reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a focus on managing Disaster Recovery projects.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Ability to navigate technical terms related to disaster recovery and infrastructure remediation.
Experience with functional business processes, particularly in an insurance background (bonus).
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to keep projects on track and on schedule.
Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
Return to Office Plan/Work Schedule:
The Project Manager will be expected to be in the office three days a week - Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
