This Lead Product Designer will be responsible for developing new features and testing market fit for a successful online community management company. As part of a small team within a larger organization you will drive product development through user research in an autonomous capacity. Supporting the Product and Engineering teams, your expertise and strategic knowledge will be leaned on heavily and as such you must be comfortable operating at a senior level and pro-actively communicate project timelines. This role will suit someone comfortable working at a startup and will focus more on product market fit, UX and strategy than visuals.
With products used extensively in the gaming industry and its related online communities, you will need to ensure their products look professional yet not too corporate; taking the complex and making it intuitive and easy to navigate.
Experienced needed:
7+ years professional experience in Product Design
Experience with B2B and B2C digital products
Strong user research skills
Experience creating new products and testing market fit
Interest in social media, gaming, or online community.
This is an onsite position in their newly finished offices Playa Vista, Los Angeles. Easy to access, close to the 405.
