Our oil and gas client is seeking a market research analyst to join the corporate communications and marketing team on a part-time basis. You will play a pivotal role in understanding key stakeholder attitudes, behaviors, and opinions to inform marketing direction and decision making. You will distill and deliver insights that help drive both communications strategy and execution, track our corporate brand health, and help shape our broader advocacy plans.
This is a part-time position; 24 hours per week. This person will be working 3 days on, 4 days off. Candidates must be able to commute to their Bentonville, Arkansas office 3 days per week.
Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and analyze market research
Manage timelines, collaborate with vendors, and present findings effectively
Manage multiple cross-functional research projects supporting specific business areas
Consult with senior leadership to understand goals, identify business issues, and propose solutions
Review research hypotheses and advise on methodologies to investigate business challenges
Develop and apply research methodologies and analytics to support data-driven decision-making
Guide research and analytic approaches to team members
Requirements
Experience in B2B business applications
Interest in public policy, advocacy, and brand building
Strong communication skills, emphasizing storytelling and message clarity
Proficiency in market research, data analysis, and data visualization.
Experience managing third-party research agencies
