Administrative Support (contract to hire in Tempe, AZ)
Pay Range: $20-23/hour depending on experience

Description:
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will perform a variety of administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, providing information to callers, and composing memos. You will also assist with research, create presentations, generate reports, and handle multiple projects. A high school diploma and at least 5 years of relevant experience are required. The ideal candidate should be familiar with a variety of administrative concepts, practices, and procedures. This role requires someone who can work independently, has strong problem-solving skills, and can effectively manage multiple tasks. Creativity and the ability to work with latitude are important. This position typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Business Group: Inbound Transportation
Purpose: Managing inbound transport, including scheduled pickups, re-routing hauls, and resolving issues. This role involves data analysis and interacting with vendors.
Responsibilities:
Attend daily meetings to review plans and recap the prior day.
Track vendor activity using Excel.
Reach out to vendors to resolve issues.
Analyze data related to vendor activities.
Requirements:
Leadership Principle: Demonstrated customer obsession, bias for action, and ability to deliver results.
Experience: 4-5+ years of industry experience, stability, and reliability.
Skills: Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office, strong PC skills, ability to analyze and interpret data.
