What you will do:
Work with operators to conduct time studies and provide analysis to team
Contribute to the design, development, and fabrication of upgrades for existing equipment.
Assist in the selection, specification, and implementation of new equipment.
Collaborate with manufacturing and other engineering personnel to make design modifications and tooling specifications.
Communicate with management, engineers, of the production processes, and production schedules.
Engage with supplier to discuss specifications, costs, quality standards, and related issues concerning tooling and equipment.
Provide training on manufacturing or processing techniques
Review blueprints and designs to determine component and prototype requirements, including in-house tooling needs.
Key Skills:
Experience with CAD software, including AutoCAD, PTC Creo or Parametric is beneficial
Bachelor's degree or Technical School with 2-3 years of relevant experience
Open to internship or project experience in a manufacturing setting
