Reports to - Preconstruction Director
Responsibilities
Manage and distribute Preconstruction Agenda and weekly meeting minutes.
Order plans for every project and any additional sets per request.
Create new projects, upload bid docs (Plans & Specifications) into Procore.
Coordinate plans to Lead Estimator and work together on due dates, bid packages, and subcontractor solicitation.
Create RFI log in Procore for each project and log all responses.
Create Project Drawing Log for all projects.
If project requires MBE participation, advertise project in the local newspaper and Greater Diversity News.
Develop and submit MBE participation within 72 hours post award.
Manage and issue advertisements via Building Connected and print media for public CM@R proposals as required.
Begin Subcontractor Call Campaign to ensure good subcontractor coverage in all packages.
Manage Building Connected subcontractor database regarding sub coverage, key subcontractor participation, outreach post bid, subcontractor bid completion.
Maintain relationships and accounts with Subcontractors.
Track and upload issued Addenda to the Proposal File in Shared Drive and issue to subs via Building Connected.
Set up proposed project on One Drive by division and invite assigned personnel
Acts as the compliance lead for the department ensuring that certain items are complete by deadline date.
Search for new jobs on various websites (CMD, Construct Connect, IPS, SCBO, NCEDU, plan rooms, college sites, county websites, etc).
Attend in-town and out of town pre-bids and bid closings when needed.
Schedule and attend Pre-Solicitation Approach Meetings with Lead Estimator
Maintain all subcontractor quotes and provide feedback.
Prepare all documents to turn over to Operations Team once a project is awarded.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Building Science, Business Administration, or related field.
3+ plus years' commercial construction estimating coordinator experience preferred, but not required.
