About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Quality Architect to join our dynamic software development team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a proven track record in designing and implementing quality assurance processes, strategies, and frameworks to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software solutions. As a Software Quality Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our software development lifecycle to achieve the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality Strategy: Evolve the company-wide software quality strategy that aligns with the organization's software development goals and business objectives. Drive implementation of the strategy across all product lines.
  • Process Design: Design, implement, and continuously improve software quality assurance processes, methodologies, and best practices, covering requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance phases.
  • Architectural Guidance: Collaborate closely with software architects, developers, and product managers to provide guidance on building quality into the software architecture and design. Ensure that quality considerations are integrated into technical decisions.
  • Test Automation: Guide the adoption and development of test automation frameworks, including appropriate tools and technologies to streamline testing processes and enhance test coverage.
  • Performance Testing: Define strategies and methodologies for performance testing, identifying potential bottlenecks and recommending solutions to optimize software performance.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential quality risks and devise mitigation strategies to address them. Ensure that risk assessment is an integral part of the software development process.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure software quality. Generate regular reports to communicate quality status to relevant stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing defects and issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Training and Mentorship: Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance their understanding of quality assurance practices and methodologies.
  • Emerging Trends: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in software quality assurance, testing tools, and technologies. Integrate relevant innovations into the organization's quality practices.
  • Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, ensuring that quality goals are understood and prioritized across the organization.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of hands-on programming and automated testing experience.
  • Extensive expertise in software quality assurance processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks, tools, and scripting languages.
  • Experience with performance testing and profiling tools.
  • In-depth understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
  • Proficiency in analyzing complex technical issues and devising effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with various programming languages and software development stacks.
Salary Ranges:
$177,000.00 - $222,600.00
The pay range depicts a base salary range for all positions except commission-based roles. The pay range for commission-based roles represents On Target Earnings (annual base salary + target annual commission). Additional compensation elements may be offered including an opportunity for bonus incentives and also competitive benefits package. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as the external/internal market demand, location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
