Job Description:
Duties:
- Execute auctions and sourcing events etc. as needed (RFI/RFQ/RFP).
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop quotes for engineering projects.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers in coordination with other business functions such as Engineering, Sales, Production, Procurement, etc.
- Vet new suppliers to ensure compliance with DQ (Data Quality) requirements, standards, and quality controls
- Conduct supplier analysis evaluate potential suppliers, and with minimal supervision coordinate the overall supplier qualification process.
- Negotiate with suppliers to meet quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to support overall business goals and provide the Company with a competitive advantage.
- Perform supplier performance QBR's in accordance with DQ (Data Quality) standards for quality, delivery, service, and cost.
- Perform vendor management reviews to help maintain key supplier compliance requirements.
- Maintain and update agreements -- review best strategies moving forward.
- Evaluate and recommend purchasing and sourcing decisions to management.
- Maintain preferred sources/suppliers within ERP software.
- Assist in development, review, and maintenance of processes, procedures, and guidelines to improve those currently used within DQ (Data Quality).
- Others as needed/required within DQ (Data Quality) teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred.
- 3 years of oil & gas category management in sourcing and procurement experience required.
- 5+ years of oil & gas category management experience preferred.
- Self-directed, able to prioritize/manage a high level of issues and tasks, and work in a team-oriented environment.
- 3+ years' experience with SAP based ERP required, Epicor preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate internally with Data Quality teams.
- Supplier contracting experience.
- Knowledgeable on financial cost structure associated with a supply chain.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills. High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule, onsite 3 days a week and remote 2 days per week.
