Envirogen is a leading water treatment solutions business. We are growing and are looking for an experienced Draftsperson, Drafter or BIM Manager with expertise in Mechanical Design.
The Role
As a Drafter/BIM Specialist, you will collaborate with our engineering team to produce detailed drawings, models and process flow diagrams utilising AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and other software. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating accurate and efficient designs within the Water Treatment Solutions industry. Key Responsibilities:
Working closely with our Principal Engineers you will be:
Executing & preparing detailed Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) pertinent to Water & Wastewater Treatment Plants using AutoCAD Software under guidance from Design Engineers.
Preparing detailed Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and General Arrangement drawings, including Fabrication and Electrical drawings, pertinent to Water & Wastewater Treatment Plants.
Producing detailed models pertinent to Water & Wastewater Treatment Plants under guidance from Design Engineers.
Generating schedules from models to quantify bill of materials.
Execution of BIM Asset management incorporating completion of an Asset Register and Asset Information Model
About you:
It would be great if your experience covers:
Technical drafting
Mechanical and electrical service coordination.
The ability to work both individually and as part of a multi-disciplined tea.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and other software
Knowledge of engineering and manufacturing principles
Knowledge of producing General Arrangement Drawings
Knowledge of producing Fabrication Design Drawings
Knowledge of producing Electrical Design Drawings
Understanding of industry-specific drafting standards
Knowledge of producing plant PFD's, P&IDs, and ISO
Degree in Applied Science in drafting or a related degree with an essential technical background
