The Senior Consumer Loan Credit Analyst (non-residential mortgage) is responsible for credit policies and decisions of consumer loans received through direct and indirect channels. Consumer loans include: credit cards, auto loans, personal loans, and buy-now/pay-later loans
You will be responsible for creating and updating Consumer Loan credit policies, reviewing, analyzing, approving, and underwriting consumer requests within COMPANY and industry guidelines. You are also responsible for timely turnaround on applications as well as for performance of loans written. You must be a decision-maker with a tolerance for risk, while understanding the lending guidelines and regulations.
The Team:
Reporting to the Country Manager and to the Chief Credit Officer (CCO), the loan team is comprised of loan officers, servicers, collections, and processors. The team is expected to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with other business units within the organization.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
and update Consumer Loan credit policies.
a thorough, in-depth analysis of credit requests.
decision to approve disapprove or forward the loan request to higher levels for decision.
and/or reviews all loan documents for completeness and accuracy.
feedback and coaching to frontline lenders as needed.
staff to identify and offer loan products to best meet members' financial needs.
with indirect dealers regarding loan decisions and suggest alternative recommendations.
informed of current trends in consumer credit.
other duties as assigned.
current loan portfolio to ensure compliance with terms and coordinates with collections as needed.
