This position will facilitate major process improvement initiatives resulting in advancements in Transmission's Asset Management capabilities. This position will collaborate with key staff, sponsors, management, stakeholders, and executives in the coordination and implementation of efforts critical to the daily delivery of asset management activities. This Project Manager (PM) plans, facilitates, and coordinates activities that support the development and operation of: Transmission Asset Management, and Demand and Capacity Engineering initiatives; managing the database for Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA); Transmission's Asset Management Plan, conducted in concert with the Agency Asset Management KSI; and Transmission's Business Model.
REQUIREMENTS
Education & Corresponding Experience:
A bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, business management, organizational development (or closely-related field) is preferred.
10 years of experience is required with an applicable bachelor degree.
14 years of experience is required with a non-applicable bachelor's or no degree.
Experience should include direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
Required Technical Skills & Experience:
Experience with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Project management experience in the electric utility sector with an emphasis on transmission assets
Experience in Asset Management and Resource planning.
Familiarity with ISO 5500x and the Institute of Asset Management.
Experience and background in defining, evaluating, and recommending plans for asset management capabilities.
Experience with business requirements gathering and data architecture.
Problem solving and root cause identification skills.
