Senior Procurement Manager at DSJ Global in Waco, Texas

Job Description:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
• Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop sourcing plans accordingly.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conducting supplier assessments, and managing supplier relationships.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve favorable terms and pricing.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies throughout the procurement process.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, supplier performance, and supply chain risks to inform decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
• Work closely with other departments, such as engineering, operations, and finance, to support cross-functional collaboration and alignment.
• Provide regular reports and updates on procurement activities, performance metrics, and key milestones to senior management.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the aerospace industry.
• Strong knowledge of aerospace procurement processes, regulations, and best practices.
• Proven track record of successfully managing procurement projects and achieving cost savings targets.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
• Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus
