The Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for managing, analyzing, and optimizing financial software systems to support the organization's financial operations.
The Financial Systems Analyst serves as the subject matter expert for Sage+ and works with the accounting team in developing the project plans for deployment of upgrades, testing, and support.
The Financial Systems Analyst collaborates with finance, IT, and other departments to identify requirements, implement solutions, and provide ongoing support for financial systems.
The Financial Systems Analyst reports directly to the Shared Services Controller.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Evaluate existing financial systems, processes, and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
Administer and maintain the Sage+ platform, including user access, data integrity, and system configuration.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, document processes, and configure the system to meet business needs.
Design and propose solutions to enhance financial systems, streamline processes, and improve efficiency.
Perform regular system upgrades, patches, and updates to ensure system security and reliability.
Troubleshoot and investigate data and process issues with end users and business partners.
Coordinate with database and application administrators on projects which are related to the accounting system.
Extract, manipulate, and analyze financial data from various sources to generate insights and support decision-making.
Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to track financial performance and trends.
Ensure that financial systems comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
Identify and mitigate risks related to financial systems, data integrity, and security.
Provide to end-users on system functionality and best practices.
Collaborate with compliance and audit teams to conduct audits and assessments of financial systems.
Assist in month-end and year-end financial close processes as needed.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial policies.
Following and enforcing the Company's policies and procedures, including the EEO guidelines, at all times;
Performing any miscellaneous departmental duties as needed.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business, or related fields.
Proficiency in researching, analyzing, and improving financial processes/systems.
Strong analytical skills and issue-resolution capabilities.
Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills in a dynamic environment.
