Job Description:
Important Skills:
- Ethernet communication protocols (DoIP, SomeIP, MQTT, IEEE1722 ACF)
- Network Management Protocols (DNS, VLAN, Network Shaping, etc), and Security Protocols (TLS 1.2/1.3, MACSec, etc)
- Network Analysis or Simulation Tools (Wireshark, SCAPY, CANalyzer, HyperV, etc)
- Embedded network applications (J1939 or 11-bit CAN, LIN, SENT, etc)
Responsibilities:
- Provide software design & development for Embedded Ethernet Infrastructure at Clients Infrastructure team.
- Collaborate with Systems Engineers to develop architectures, designs, and interfaces.
- Lead software delivery, providing technical guidance to the team.
- Independently drive key initiatives and concept development.
- Interface with dependent teams for technical scope and execution planning.
Skills Needed:
- 4+ years of software development experience (Embedded C/C++, Python, Perl).
- Technical expertise in vehicle communication networks, especially Ethernet.
- Proficiency in Agile methodology and Scrum processes.
- Strong communication and mentoring skills.
Stand Out:
- Leadership experience in engineering design.
- In-depth knowledge of ethernet communication and security protocols.
- Systems Engineering background or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with other embedded network applications and analysis tools.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
