As a Remote Integration Developer, you'll play a pivotal role in the development, configuration, and technical support of our integration platforms and enterprise solutions. Your main focus will be on integrating order-related data with our existing ERP system, utilizing a variety of tools and protocols. Here's what you'll be doing:
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain EDI solutions using established tools and conventions such as Rest APIs, SOAP APIs, Fortra MFT GoAnywhere, SQL Queries, JavaScript, HTML, XML, Google Workspace, and MS Office.
Possess functional knowledge of EDI processes for various document types including 850, 855, 856, 810, 846, 997, 860, and 862.
Collaborate with vendors and customers to understand and fulfill EDI requirements.
Analyze vendor and customer EDI needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Create and manage EDI maps using different EDI tools.
Assist in testing and troubleshooting of EDI transactions.
Establish and maintain EDI communications with trading partners, vendors, and customers using protocols like AS2, SFTP, HTTPS, etc.
Develop, modify, and support integrations with relevant tools.
Provide support and maintenance for EDI systems to ensure seamless communication with customers and our internal ERP.
Proficiency in writing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting JavaScript, SQL, and SuiteQL queries.
Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when necessary.
Collaborate with business end-users throughout the analysis, development, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and post go-live support phases.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in EDI development, with proficiency in JavaScript and SQL.
Strong understanding of EDI X12 standards and EDI translator tools.
Hands-on experience with EDI mapping, trading partner setup, and various EDI communications protocols (AS2, SFTP, HTTPS, etc.).
