Company Profile: This major retailer is looking for a Procurement Manager. This person will be responsible for assisting in defining and implementing procurement strategies for the faculties and construction category. They will lead sourcing projects, contracts, execution, and supply base relationships with business partners. This opportunity is a permanent, new role with a company that has witnessed incredible growth over the past few years and needs additional support on the Procurement team.
The Procurement Manager will be responsible for the following:
Implement the category management strategy supported by optimal sourcing and procurement strategies
Lead fact-based supplier negotiations and progressive supplier relationship management activities
Mitigate overall business risk
Develop and execute strategy that necessitates a strong collaboration between business leaders and clear communication with suppliers
The Procurement Manager should have the following:
Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Economics, Finance, or related Business Field
Five to seven years of indirect procurement experience
CPM/CPSM (Preferred)
Previous management experience
Leading big projects from beginning to end
This is a full time hybrid position in Allegheny County, PA.
