The role is based in Rockdale, TX, and is not a remote position.

What you will be responsible for:
  • Equipment Diagnosis: Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using diagnostic tools, manuals, and testing procedures.
  • Testing: Conduct tests and inspections to determine the root cause of equipment failures and verify the effectiveness of repairs.
  • Disassembly: Safely disassemble malfunctioning equipment to access and inspect internal components.
  • Part Replacement: Replace faulty parts or components with new or refurbished ones, following manufacturer specifications and guidelines.
  • Assembly: Reassemble equipment components and parts according to assembly instructions, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality checks on repaired equipment to ensure compliance with performance standards and specifications.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of equipment diagnoses, repairs, parts usage, and testing results.

How you will stand out:
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy products over 22KG.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment failures using diagnostic tools, manuals, and testing equipment.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Understanding of mechanical systems and components to effectively disassemble and assemble equipment parts.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze test results, identify issues, and determine the root cause of equipment failures.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Capacity to develop solutions to address equipment malfunctions effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in disassembling and assembling equipment parts to ensure proper function and alignment.
  • Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols to ensure personal safety and prevent accidents during equipment testing and repair.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate technical information effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Documentation Skills: Capability to maintain accurate records of equipment tests, diagnostic results, and repair procedures.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and procedures to keep up with advancements in equipment and repair techniques.
  • Team Player: Collaboration with colleagues to coordinate repair efforts and support overall team goals.
  • Time Management: Efficiency in managing tasks and prioritizing work to meet repair deadlines and minimize equipment downtime.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with computer software for accessing equipment manuals, recording data, and communicating with team members.
  • Hand Tools Proficiency: Competence in using various hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers for disassembling and assembling equipment parts.
  • Electrical Knowledge: Understanding of electrical systems and components for diagnosing and repairing electrical equipment failures.
  • Experience: Previous experience in equipment repair, maintenance, or a related field may be preferred.
