TGC Search is partnered with one of our top clients in Milwaukee, WI looking to add their next Manufacturing Process Engineer to the team in a direct hire/full-time position.
Your role as a key player in the organization will involve refining and enhancing our industrial processes utilizing cutting-edge lean manufacturing methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead initiatives to enhance cost-effectiveness through the application of Lean Manufacturing principles, including Six Sigma methodology, Kaizen, and other process enhancement strategies.
Conduct a thorough analysis of existing workflows to pinpoint areas for improvement, devising and executing solutions to optimize our manufacturing operations.
Ensure strict adherence to safety and quality standards, providing insightful reports and proposing actionable solutions as needed.
Develop comprehensive process documentation and operating instructions, leveraging simulations, risk assessments, and testing to streamline operations and overcome obstacles.
Collaborate on estimating production costs and contribute to equipment layout design and planning.
Tackle manufacturing process challenges head-on through adept troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Desired Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience as a Manufacturing Process Engineer.
Experience with metals or casting preferred.
Interest in leading continuous improvement projects and driving change.
Experience in conducting process simulations, testing, and crafting standard operating procedures.
