Inventory Management and/or Oversight:
Establish and execute meticulous inventory control protocols (either based from your previous and professional experience and/or by working with an external consultant) to implement and maintain precise stock levels.
Regularly audit and track inventory movements, ensuring alignment with production demands.
Collaborate closely with production teams to anticipate material requirements and prevent shortages.
Strategic Procurement:
Scout, evaluate, and forge strong relationships with suppliers to secure top-quality materials.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms while upholding quality standards.
Strategically plan and execute purchases based on production forecasts and inventory analysis.
Supply Chain Management:
Monitor purchase orders and coordinate timely deliveries, resolving any logistical hurdles.
Optimize procurement processes to minimize costs while enhancing quality and reliability.
Foster strong communication channels with suppliers to address concerns and optimize collaboration.
Analytical Insights:
Generate insightful reports on inventory levels, turnover rates, and purchasing trends.
Utilize data-driven analysis to identify optimization opportunities and enhance inventory management strategies.
Regulatory Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and maintain meticulous documentation of all inventory and purchasing transactions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree
Proven track record (10 years) in inventory management, ideally within an art or manufacturing domain.
Strong negotiation skills coupled with an innate understanding of procurement principles.
Proficiency in inventory management software and adeptness with MS Office Suite.
Exceptional communication skills and adeptness in multitasking within a dynamic work environment.
