About this opportunity
PAM Transport is looking to add a Senior Business Analyst to their IT team! The Business Analyst interfaces with business process stakeholders to determine and document business processes, system requirements and to develop appropriate documentation for each phase of the software development lifecycle.
Pay and Schedule
This position is Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. The pay range is $70,000 - $90,000/year dependent on experience.

How will you contribute to the success of the team?
Lead efforts to interface with IT users to determine business system requirements, conduct interviews, develop questionnaires and analyze results, and conduct observations of business areas and workflow
Facilitate meetings between users and IT personnel to gather requirements, resolve issues, and review requirements deliverables
Promote the IT department solutions, processes, and procedures to users and clients
Document user business requirements using standard IT tools and techniques, such as business process models, flowcharts, use case models, and use case specification documents
Use IT department standards for developing requirements documents as well as for developing user acceptance test cases, test scripts, and test plans. Maintain system requirement specifications to ensure the integrity of those documents as system/business changes occur
Initiate appropriate actions to research resolutions and clarifications of business issues and requirements. Conduct research on appropriate software packages to meet user-defined system requirements
Interface with application development team members to share business system knowledge, ensure user business requirements are translated accurately in system design and development, and provide appropriate business system support for project maintenance efforts
Provide status reports to the management concerning progress and issues with open projects
What makes you a strong candidate for this position?
PC experience, Microsoft Office suite, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Windows
Must have good communication skills including oral, written, and system modeling skills
Must be able to lead, facilitate, and present during meetings with technical and business users
Familiarity with business requirement tools and techniques, including business process models, flowcharts, and process management tools
