Job Title: Enterprise Infrastructure Architect

Work Location: Somerset, NJ (Hybrid)

Job Description:

Experience: 12 - 15 years

Domain experience
• Demonstrable experience in one or more of Hi-tech, Retail & Manufacturing, TTH (Travel Technology & Hospitality), or BFSI (Banking & Financial Services, Insurance) domains
• Technology consulting background with experience gained in recognized consulting organizations preferred.

Consulting Experience
• Experience in defining & realizing end-to-end infrastructure architecture for large & complex systems.
• Define and achieve a strategic roadmap for the enterprise, including IaaS, PaaS, workload, and application migration, digital native and cloud managed services adoption.
• Support executives and business leaders to translate their business vision into technology strategy, capabilities, assets, and technologies.
• Create and communicate the enterprise infrastructure architecture vision, strategy, and roadmap to stakeholders, promoting understanding and support.
• Strong understanding of cloud value propositions.
• Conduct technology assessments and evaluations to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities, and recommend appropriate target-state infrastructure architecture solutions and roadmaps.
• Advising on technical solutions, standard integration methodologies and the alignment of business and technology
• Follow trends in technology and have a point of view on industry trends, application of technologies to realize meaningful business solutions.
• Analyze current business practice, processes, and procedures as well as identifying future business opportunities for leveraging Intelligent Cloud services for data, IoT, and cognitive.
• Develop overall solution plans and sales strategies to generate compelling and differentiated client outcomes.
• Provide high-level architectural expertise to sales, project, and other analytics teams.
• Perform key management and thought leadership role across cloud computing and other areas of interest and specialty.
• Build relationships with internal and client enterprise/solution architects and collaborate on promoting architectural best practices and governances.
• Provide solution oversight to delivery architects and teams.
• Proficient in creating Architecture documentation Viewpoints, Technology Architecture, Blueprints and Design specifications.
• Strong understanding of architecture patterns such as multi-tenancy, federated, and scalable microservices

Technology & Engineering Expertise
• Hands-on experience as an enterprise infrastructure architect.
• In-depth knowledge of infrastructure technologies, including server hardware, storage systems, network devices, virtualization platforms and cloud services.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in designing and documenting scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure architectural artifacts, including process flows, data models, and system diagrams.
• Experience in Infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and automation frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Expertise in infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, and firewalls.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements for securing enterprise infrastructure, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption and vulnerability management.
• Experience with designing and implementing high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions for mission-critical systems and applications.
• Professional certification in at least one of Azure, AWS or GCP (expected familiarization with all three)
• Experience in Cloud migration and modernization programs.
• Experience in building enterprise platforms using cloud native components.

• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders and present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Proven experience delivering architecture balancing the needs of your client with costs and capabilities, remaining focused on business value and outcomes.
• Demonstrable experience in transforming a business use case and requirements into high-level technical architecture.
• Experience in business processing mapping and data & analytics solutions.
• Strong understanding of cloud value propositions
• People management responsibilities both directly and indirectly with globally dispersed teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Able to explain complex cloud concepts in non-technical language.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Experience partnering on cloud-related sales pursuits.
• Strong team collaboration and experience working with remote teams.
• Familiarity with enterprise software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps, SecOps, Product IT Model etc.) and tools
