Summary
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our plastic injection molding processes. Your primary focus will be on enhancing efficiency, elevating production performance, and swiftly identifying and addressing bottlenecks. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will lead initiatives to propel our manufacturing operations to new heights of productivity.
Job Responsibilities
Efficiency Enhancement:
Utilize extensive plastic injection molding expertise to streamline processes and enhance machine and assembly efficiency.
Implement innovative solutions to maximize output and minimize resource utilization.
Drive initiatives to achieve and surpass production efficiency targets.
Production Performance:
Work collaboratively with the engineering team to ensure that designs are optimized for seamless production.
Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for performance improvement.
Lead projects aimed at elevating overall production performance and meeting production goals.
Bottleneck Identification and Resolution:
Conduct thorough analysis of manufacturing processes to pinpoint bottlenecks and areas of inefficiency.
Implement lean fundamentals to identify root causes and develop strategic solutions for bottleneck elimination.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a coordinated approach to bottleneck resolution.
Continuous Improvement:
Instill a culture of continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing process.
Leverage lean manufacturing principles to drive ongoing enhancements in efficiency and productivity.
Spearhead initiatives to continually optimize machine and assembly effectiveness.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven track record in optimizing plastic injection molding processes for enhanced efficiency.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and a track record of successful implementation.
Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on improving overall production performance.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
Preferred Skills
Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to plastic injection molding.
