LeachGarner, a divison of the Richline Group is looking for an experienced Tool Setter to join our precious metals manufacturing team in Attleboro. As a Tool Setter you will play a crucial role in ensuring machines function properly and produce consistent quality products.
4-10 hours shifts Monday - Thursday and Fridays off!
$22 - $25 per hour/ 40-hours per week
What you will do:
Install and set up tooling systems, including pins, guides, and other components
Fine-tune and adjust tooling settings to ensure precise operation and dimensional accuracy
Perform calibration procedures using precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, and gauges
Conduct routine maintenance tasks on tooling systems
Replace worn or damaged components as needed
Identify and troubleshoot issues with tooling systems during production and take prompt corrective actions
Monitor production output and inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
Adjust tooling as necessary to achieve desired quality levels
Maintain accurate records of tooling setups, adjustments, and maintenance activities • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures
Follow proper lockout/tagout procedures when performing maintenance on machinery
Wear proper PPE at all times
What you need to bring:
2+ years experience as a tool setter in a manufacturing environment
Good math skills
Experience using micrometers, calipers and related hand tools
Proficiency in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of machine operation and maintenance principles
Attention to detail and accuracy in work
Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
Excellent attendance
High School Diploma or GED
Physical and work condition requirements of the position:
Visual acuity • Reaching, bending and stooping
Standing and walking throughout 8-10-hour shift
Ability to lift 25+ pounds
Ability to push and pull with force
